Reactive Bowling Ball Reviews
>> Thursday, March 17, 2011
With so many reactive bowling balls getting developed and put on the market every month it's hard to keep up with all the reviews. Depending on the month of the year there are between 5 and 20 new reactive bowling balls coming out every month and it's hard to sort out which ball is right for you, which bowling ball might be able to help your game, and which bowling ball may be a good replacement for an old ball in your bag.
Reactive Bowling Ball Reviews Online
The first place to look for good reviews to to hit up all the websites of the actual bowling ball manufactures. Most companies like Storm, Brunswick, Ebonite, as well as many others do a great job publishing the stat sheets of their new bowling balls as well as describing which balls they are phasing out of their lineup. Unfortunately these reviews are a little biased but they are a good place to start.Other good sources for reviews are the small proshops distributing informative videos on the bowling balls on sites like YouTube. These video reviews of bowling balls can really help the average bowler understand the difference between one older ball they may have in their bag and a newer reactive bowling ball for sale on the market.
Other Reviews of Reactive Bowling Balls
Many bowling publications like Bowlers Journal magazine also have an excellent section in their monthly magazine going over the specs and purpose behind each new bowling ball release. They detail out what conditions the ball is best for, when and why the ball may be useful to you, and give some guidance on what other balls may be good similar options. This magazine is just one source however and it's always best to ask around. Usually league bowlers are a good and helpful crowd. You may be able to find a bowler in your local league who will let you toss a frame or two with their new ball so that you can get a feel for how the ball rolls. Sometimes it's just best to test drive a bowling ball before buying.
On this website I plan on adding some of my own personal reviews of bowling balls. I am but one person and won't be able to cover them all but usually it's great to get a review of a new reactive ball from an actual bowler and not a bowling ball manufacturer. Look for these updates periodically in the future here on this blog.
